Which card should I get with in the next 5 years?

So within the next 5 years I will be paying my car loan way down and then paying it completely off by end of 5 years, and I am looking to replace my Paypal Smartconect since I recently finally got the Extras Mastercard.......

Which cards would be a good replacement for my Smart Connect, so I can earn more cash back?

Chase Freedom

Fidelity AMEX

AMEX BCE

Barclay Rewards

Barclay Sallie Mae

Or do should I just try so hard to get really big increases on other cards so closing Smart Connect won't make a difference in available credit?

I'm not looking to do this right now but within the next 5 years, i think i need to "garden" and let accounts age and also let those inquaries continue to fall off so i dont keep getting hit with "too many inquaries in last 6 or 12 months" or "length of established history low"

I want to keep being on the path to awesomeness and earn the most cashback while doing so. Smiley Very Happy

Advice please?

The advice is to not worry about this until you are within a few months of apping. Who knows what the credit market will look like ina  couple of years. The cards that are good today may be garbage in a few years and there may be amazing cards that have not even beem invented yet that will be available when your ready to app.

Re: Which card should I get with in the next 5 years?

Yes.  5 years ago some of the popular cards didn't exist in their current form, e.g

Sallie Mae, BCP, BCE, Citi Exec, Everyday etc.
