@GrandBaker, I see a couple of problems. First, Capital One doesn't move limits. But for giggles, let's say they did. The OP would be moving the limit from a no-fee card to one with a fee. Also, the new card is the one that's less likely to be in a starter bucket and more likely to grow.
Moving the limit from a new card to an old one could work with two cards from certain other banks, though. But you'd want to keep in mind that closed cards have the same effect on age stats as open ones, so nothing would be gained there.
