Need to rent a car and my credit is rebuilding since my CH7. I need a high limit secured card as I need the car for 2 weeks long trip across the country.
That being said I have the amount needed $1500 in cash but need to find a secured card that I can deposit that amount and have it available and also I need it within a week.
Are there any cards out there that fit both criteria?
Theres US Bank and Disco. Disco will graduate in time. Try their pre-qual. US Bank has been approving frequently also. But dont know who was burned.
It's usually about a 2 week turn around time for secured cards. I don't know who does it the fastest, but disco took around 10 days for me.

Don't know where you live, but Logix FCU has a secured credit card
You deposit funds in a savings
Have that card with that limit.
It has No ATM fee, No FTF, and a low APR.
They print & hand you the card in branch same time you join and deposit funds.
or
You could do the same with any local CU that prints there own cards or has Gift Visa or MC's
You give them $500 and get an in branch printed Gift Visa or MC with a $500 balance (More of a Debit than CC), but should work except once purchased you have to spend what is on the card. No way get cash back out, need to spend it..
or
Open a checking and get a debit card for that account, here in CA. many local CU's print there own cards and hand them to you. No waiting 7 - 10 days.
This is good. Print in house. I wish NFCU had that or do they?
Unfortunately Logix is not in Texas

If a secured card ends up being a non-starter due to the tight time frame, you might want to contact Enterprise. I say this because I didn't have any credit for a stretch of nearly 7 years (before, during, and shortly after my Chapter 13); I found I was able to rent cars from Enterprise locations not near a major airport with just my debit card.

Try PayPal Mastercard... no hard pull if denied, if the limit is too low to get the rental they allow you to pre-pay a balance meaning you can make your balance go negative and buy above your limit.
I believe you can do the same thing with Amex and the blue cash everyday, and they generally do not do a hard pull if denied (it will tell you at the top of the application).
As for your question about secure card limits I know discover is 2,500.

I have never had a secured credit card, but if I understand correctly: Deposit X amount to "receive" X amount "credit limit."
Just speaking from personal experience from early 2021:
BofA secured CCR is, I believe, $10,000. Mine graduated in about 7 months.
TD Bank Secured is, I believe, $5,000. Mine also graduated in 7 months.
At least in 2021, TD made you fund the card in person at a branch.
I recall receiving the BofA CCR pretty quickly.

When I applied (and was denied) for a BofA secured credit card back in 2020 their maximum limit was $5,000; I just checked and that is their limit today as well. Not saying it didn't go up to $10,000 and then back down at some point in the last three years, just that it is no longer so high. The other card I considered when I got my secured TDCash card was the secured card offering from Wells Fargo, which at the time was $10,000; then it went to zero as Wells opted to discontinue their secured card entirely.
