oh, also you are entitled to a free report if you have aa. denied credit, insurance, employment, idigent, etc... those have to come from the individual cra's as well, dig around thier websites and you'll find out the criteria.

you can get one free report a year from each cra.  you have to pull direct reports to get soft inqs.

I logged into True Credit and got my TU CR. The soft inquiry section is like 10% of the soft inquiry section on my EX, nobody is looking at my TU. I'm wondering if that means that all those WAMU offers I'm getting are because of my EQ. WAMU isn't on my EX or TU soft section.

If Wamu's on your EQ only, then yep, I'd say.

They send me offers all the time with great rates and BT promos, I just don't have any cards that need a BT. I feel like it would be a waste to apply until I get an offer from them that I can actually use. I used to get these crazy offers for 0% for 18 months and never took them up on it, now it's BTs for 18 months. Hopefully they'll switch back over to the 0 APR again so I can take them up on it. There are no inquiries at the moment on my EQ and it's my highest score, so I should be able to get a decent limit.

If you wait them out, the offers will get better and better.

WaMu sent me offers for their regular Plat MC every 2-3 days for months on end.  I never responded, but I noticed the advertised APRs kept going lower and lower over time, and the advertised max CLs kept getting larger and larger.

Finally, after not responding to about 30 or 40 offers for the regular Plat MC, they sent me an offer for the WaMu Real Rewards Plat MC, which I applied for and instantly received a $15K CL.

Let them woo you.

Edit: Fixed typo "every 23 days" to "every 2-3 days."  No, they didn't just send me something every few weeks, it was about 3 times a week.

What is WAMU's policy on CLI? Do they do them automatically or do you have to ask? After having my own bad experiences with Juniper, I figure it's best to know these things ahead of time before I even consider applying. I know I deff. don't the Capital One card offers I keep getting and I was considering Hooters but it seems people are also having difficulties there lately too.
