I sent a secure message asking to do it, and I also called today and was told they do not do it both times. Am I just finding the wrong CSR's to ask? I see on here all the time that people do it so what gives?
Thanks

They seemed to have stop merging and splitting but I did get them to split.
Navy realized the loop hole of the sp CLI and having 2 and 3 credit cards allowed people to expand the internal limit FAR!
darn...oh well
I moved my credit limit from my Flagship over to my cashRewards and then closed my Flagship via secure message.
I did this about 2 months ago. If they no longer do this it is a very recent change.

i guess so b/c that's exactly what I asked to do
Oh no, i was planning to open flagship card by moving 5k from existing nRewards.

That's how I opened the Flagship to begin with, that was done via secure message also.
They may have axed the option though.
I previously had 2 Navy Fed. cards. The limit on my Cash Rewards was 12,500 and my Go Rewards was 1,500. I transferred my $1500 Go Rewards limit to my Cash Rewards and closed the Go Rewards. I now have only 1 card with a $14,000 limit. I did this 2 weeks ago by calling customer care. I forgot to add that the 1st time I attempted this I was told that it was not possible. I'm not sure if this is what you are trying to accomplish but if so I would suggest you call back.
