Who else hasn't switched to the Discover it card yet?

Just wondering who else hasn't switched yet. I'm already getting the full 1% cashback since I've reached the $3k spending requirement, so I think I will just stick with my Discover More card until my 1 year anniversary date in June 2013. After that, I will then most likely switch to the Discover it card. Who knows, maybe they will offer some incentives to entice cardmembers to switch.

I am staying with my More card.  They gave me 7.9% for 18 months on my year anniversary, plus I hit the $3k spending on the second day so I am good until December 6. :-)  Dang MRI.

you don't have to stay with more to keep your benefits. the only thing that changes is that you get 1 percent on any regular purchase, and they issue you a card with the it design.

I have not switched. Do they ask you to switch or are you supposed to call and ask?

Re: Who else hasn't switched to the Discover it card yet?

I haven't switched yet, but I'm planning to call them next week. My statement cuts on the 12th and when I spoke to the CSR in December she told me that I would have to call at least 3-4 days before statement cut in order for them to be able to process PC in this cycle.

I also don't know if that's right or wrong (I called them right after the whole thing has been announced in mid-December and they were not confident in their answers by themselves) but I've been told that my card should not have pending transactions at the time of switch, so I will probably have to SD it for a week or so :-) right after the call.

In my wallet now: Amex PRG NPSL, Amex BCE $15k $17k (thanks to recent CLI), Chase Freedom 11k, CSP $6k, Chase United ME $5k, Citi Dividend $5.6k, Discover It $4.5k and a handful of other cards...
TU Dec 2013 - 752Sep 2013 - 764 - new all time maximum

Obsolete data aboveCurrent TU - probably around ~810, only using a few Chase & BofA cards now, not applying for much until we buy a house

I wonder when Discover sent letter to most More customer and said you can't PC your card to the IT.

I bet 1 millions ppl on this forum going to beg for it and try many possible way to convert to IT.

When things came too easy then ppl doesn't wanna take it but i would take it right away because for its benefit and extra perks........

There's no lost in this game........that's 4sure.............

Discover IT upgrade to fit with most of CC company out there such as Chase, Citi, Amex.....etc.......

Since its their loss....Its our win America....

Come on get it straight.......

I dont see the point of switching, Im stationed in Europe so all my purchases are through the online stores which get 5% back anyway.
