i hate to pay annual fee... fees kills everything
I think the reason most people like the Zync is because it's supposedly easier to qualify for than other Amex products. Not "easy," just "easier."
It's good because if you have some blemish on your report, it's your best chance of getting in the door with AMEX, and you know how we all love the allure of AMEX
Yeah, it's more about the prestige of AMEX and getting in with a company like theirs.
If that doesn't matter to you, then I do see how the AF wouldn't be worth it. But for me, being so young, the $25 fee is well worth having an American Express account in my file.
got it. i am gonna apply one next month, that i expect my score could be hight than 670 in next month
I like it because it looks cool . It's actually not a bad product and probably would be better then the Green card if its membership points were transferrable.

This really is subjective, and not true for everyone. I make at least 3 times my annual fee on my PR Gold card every year, plus all the other bennies. Bennies aside, I made money by using a card with an AF.

Same here, and Also my Blue Cash Preferred has a 75AF which I've only had the card 45 days or so and I have already 107 in cash rewards, I plan on earning somewhere around $400-$500 a year on this card, Man I just love taking money from CCC's
I also disagree about the annaul fees. I think $25 is worth the spending power, worth the benefits, and worth the customer service.
Also just FYI. After you get your zync card, and make your first purchase, you get rewarded with 10,000 MR points. If you so choose, you can pay your annual fees with these MR points. Visit www.membershiprewards.com/cardfees for more information. Basically, the way I see it, I get 4 free years of using my Zync card. Then, as I pay my regular monthly bills, and build up more points, I can save just enough to pay my yearly card fees. The rest can be used elsewhere like a nice Gap card!
I love my AMEX Zync
