Why Barclay's AF version of Arrival Better/Preferred by most?

Thanks for the information guys. I just wanted to get proper info, before I dive in.

So to summarize - 

1) There is no difference, between the redemption options for AF/Non-AF Versions

2) Non Travel credits are only at 50%

Correct.  Only difference is how many points you earn per dollar!
