From everything I've read, and personal experience, not sure why so many people want Chase. I'd much rather have BofA. Better customer service and they will grow with you unlike Chase. Hate that bank!

That's ok. I can't stand BoA and hope they go out of business. Thought they were an absolute terrible bank to do business with. The point being everyone will have different experiences. My experience deals with their retail banking side, but I refuse to get their credit cards as a result. I don't retail bank with Chase and I like their credit cards for the signup offers/UR program. If their cards did not offer any perks I wouldn't have any chase cards.

Re: Why Chase?

I have checking accounts at both chase and boa. I have have banked with boa since 2008 and chase 2013.

I like both banks A LOT. Chase has given me several credit cards while boa will only give me one card. I hate a double pull but because TU is my best profile and EX worst, the chase double EX tu and going off tu report has granted me great cards. Boa using only ex is a brick wall on approvals.

Re: Why Chase?

Only Chase card I have is my Freedom.  It is almost my lowest limit at $6k.  I put more than that through it a month and no CLI.  I love the card, it just doesn't grow like my others.

Re: Why Chase?

Apped yesterday for an Ink Plus to replace my Ink Bold - approved for $17k.  Was going to garden for 6 months or so until they offered a decent Marriott offer but today in the mail received a 70,000 point for $2k spend bonus, free night with account opening, and waived AF for a year so I went ahead and jumped on it and was approved for $25k.  Just another reason for me to keep choosing them.
