Out of principle, I'm going to start giving LTL kudos on every post until I forget why i'm doing it. Smiley Happy

There should be a sticky post about that at the top of every forum!

p.s. Coincidentally, your post got a kudos itself.  I am still trying to figure out how this works...

I dunno.

I think it's like a pat on the back.

Interest if it's not ~20+% isn't as bad as some think provided you're not running a balance for an extended amount of time.

It's always better than a payday loan.

Rationalizing much, are we?  Anyway, I mistakenly read your post as saying you were going to give EPF kudos on every post.  My bad.  How do I take the kudos I gave you back?  I feel used and cheap.

Actually,  elPatitoFeo is doing very well at kudos.  He has 85 kudos count from 425 posts, a massive 0.2 kudos per post.   In contrast my figure (274 out of 7K+) comes to a lousy 0.03 kudos per post, i.e. EPFs posts are about 7 times better than mine.

And Nixon, that last paragraph: please try to avoid posting on topic.

How odd?  A " long time LURKER" checking out my kudos... Smiley Mad

Isn't the topic done?  Nobody is afraid of interest.  We just don't feel it makes financial sense.  What else is there to say?

p.s.  Do I get a kudo for that?Smiley Wink

Well said.

I am however going to have to decline your application for kudos on this post. You'll get a letter in 7-70 business days.

Re: Why are people afraid of interest??

I'm not afraid of interest, I just don't want to add to the cost of goods already purchased. What's the deal of driving to the store, to get a 15% off item when you let it sit on your card for months accuring interests. Or waiting for Cyber Monday to purchase steeply discounted goods to only add to the cost via cc interest charges...

Plus I dont like the idea of a $6 cheese burger turning into a $8 cheese burger after I have already eaten it lol.
