Why did Barclays take down the app for the Arrival+?

As everyone probably knows by now, you can no longer apply for the Barclaycard Arrival+ or Arrival on the Barclaycard website. Though you still can through other promotional websites like Nerdwallet. It is also no longer listed

My question is why? Do you think they are retooling the card? Preparing to discontinue it?

They currently have a lot of cards missing on their website. They haven't even advertised the JetBlue card. Not sure what is going on.

Barclay stock went from 186 to 127 in one day during Brexit (2 weeks ago).  Maybe they are limiting risk until things become clearer over there.

Looks like all that AA they've been so very proud of enacting all these years on so many (former) customers is coming back to retool their hind ends?

This definitely bears some watching to see just what the deal is with them now.

They have been down for awhile being the applications from their main site.. I still believe you can apply through 3rd party sites for the arrival+ and other one of their cards.. Just type in google arrival+ credit card application and ignore barclay's site and goto thrid party site and apply if you want the card.

Side note not sure why barclay's actually took down the link from their site, maybe re-doing the card/cards?  Although as stated you still can apply through other methods.

It has gone and came back nerfed and gone now, but as stated still can apply by other methods..  Probably modifying it again in some way?
