I should have known better... I got the 7 day notice that my application needs further review from Citibank. I got my hopes up this month when my lowest score became 630 and my highest became 670.

I swear to freakin god I am Charlie Brown if he were real and not a cartoon.
By the way it was for the Premier Pass which is supposed to be the easy one to get, right?

Sorry to hear this. I guess I have the 13th curse as I applied to BofAm and got the deline out right. I then called the recon number and answered about 5 questions and again, got a decline. I guess I should have waited and confirmed the removal of a couple collection items from my CR. They pulled Experian and that was my highest score....
We should be ashamed aquatic, applying on an evil day. At least mine was not an outright decline this time! That's a partial victory. And I swear that I will not apply again until July when my AAoA is at a nice 1 year mark.
I should have waited until tomorrow and maybe would have had better luck, try to smooth talk the CSR's into giving some love on V-Day.
By the way does anyone else find it ironic that Friday the 13th is followed by Valentiines Day this year? Theres a lesson in there.
Pappy you dont know if you didn't receive it.
You might have reverse bad luck since its V day tomorrow lol
I hope you get it.
Pappy,
I received the same notice when I applied online for my Cap One Card. I called them and all they needed to do is verify my identity. I have read that these has happened to some other people on here as well. I'd call the backdoor number and see if you can get approved.
Good luck!

I called the backdoor number. Got the script answers from the first line CSR's (Mario, Paula, Sylvia, and Pat), finally asked for a Supervisor. I was sweet as sugar with the supervisor, she still declined me, but she said she will take one more look at my application and let me know in two days by letter .That doesn't sound good. They pulled EX here in CA.
Apparently they are not "lending" that 36.5 billion their CEO said they would free up to the people.
