I confess, I was wondering if anyone would understand the reference. lol
The plum colored ones usually have a 3% APR spread and are thought by a few of us to be a higher chance of approval (vs the blueish/silver ones with large spread).
The silver blue with the wide spread APR is nothing special, probably a denial. The other colors seems to have a 3 point spread in the APR as stated above and have a decent chance of approval. The ones I get are all denials, regardless of color.

They are waging a psychological war on your brain. Discover hopes they will eventually send a color that illicits a feeling of utility you once had when spending money. Maybe your parents withheld affection, maybe your father wasn't part of your life. Either way they will eventually win. Wait for the green one!
All true, unfortunately.
As far as the interest rate spread, they've all been the same 3%, between 13.49 and 16.49 if I remember correctly.
this color card in offer...
is always this spread for me...
"After the intro APR expires, your APR will be 11.24% to23.24%, based on your creditworthiness. This APR will vary with the market based on the Prime Rate."
this color card in offer is the tight spread and may or may not mean a darn thing, lol...
I just looked and my last plum mailer (last month) was... "10.24 to 13.24".
I only applied for Discover when my credit sucked (no mailers then) so I have no idea if the offer is good.
