I understand your viewpoint, but if "Are CSRs misinformed/incompetent about important details?" was a gating factor for chosing an issuer, most of us wouldn't have any cards!
+1
I've been annoyed plenty of times by CSRs (at banks and elsewhere) but I'm not going to allow their ineptitude to cause further issues by depriving myself of a product that's a good fit otherwise.
I agree in principal, and early in my credit history I was more willing to take a card that was not the best. I am now in the garden, and with 15 cards already it is going to take an awesome card to give up my gold spade. The errant CSR would not be enough if I had a real need or compelling reason to get the card. Since I already have the citi DC that pays me 2% there is not really a compelling reason to get it. Now I am very discriminating and will only take the best...I want an 850 fico, and plan to get it.
Next month will be 1 year since having the Blispay Visa. I like this card for any purchase over 199 - especially for the 6 months @ 0% and the immediate return of 2% credit. I like that my payments are automatically applied to the balance that is closest to coming off the 0% first. Obviously, I don't use this card for everyday purchases, if I'm carrying promotions of 0%. I've paid my car insurance upfront for the whole year.
I have no use for my Citi Double Cash anylonger. Blispay gave me a 9k SL. I have never cashed out anything with Citi DC and the limit has been stuck at $4.6k for more than 3 years.

This made me lol! But it is true..

Easily accessible, seemingly generous credit lines and baked in financing. What is this card seem to be panned or otherwise poorly reviewed?
As I responded in another thread, there are always greener pasture elsewhere. Some may have better benefits than this CC. Also, Blispay is never a good CC company with good customer service.

Yep, I can't get past thinking of Pisspay and Piss Poor.........
Frankly I find Blispay very useful with the only downside the ever phone/website/statement "we'll send you a code to acces" thats a PITA.
I have a $7500 CL, the wife has a $7500 CL (two different accounts) and we use it for larger purchases that we are sure we can pay in 5 months - taxes, garage door repair, new golf clubs (my card, she will never see it), Dental crown/bridge $1500, etc.
2% back is nice, but I have a bunch of cards that offer that, 6 months no payments, no interest is the true benefit and to be sure we never ever pay interest or forget, pAyment in full is scheduled for the 5th month end of month pay cycle.
As one of the tools in the box (wallet) I find Blispay to be great, that said I'd never use it as a daily spend because I'd never know what was due when how where and I'm not willing to maintain a spreadsheet just for a single card, any card.
Never spoken to a CSR, both of our cardswere instant approval.
I can always think of somethnig I don't like about any card. But I have had zero issues with Blispay. It is a really unique and beneficial card. Fortunately, it is not my only card.
