Why isnt my Chase Freedom a Visa Signature?

I had a Chase Freedom Unlimited which was a Visa Sigatnure ( high limit as well), so I product changed it to the Regular Freedom card. I just recieved it in the mail and it isnt a Visa Signature. Which is odd.....any one else experience this?

That's odd. You should be able to send a SM asking to 'upgrade' your card to VS if you want.

Re: Why isnt my Chase Freedom a Visa Signature?

Disappointed in Chase. I'm an OCD triple checker. The very first time....I asked the rep about 10x you sure its a visa sigatnure freedom. he said yes. Well... I just called back today, they gave me a story about some glitch/ the previous rep didn't choose the right option and now they fixed it and now theyre sure its a Visa sigature and  they are sending me a new card in the mail.  They basically had to product change it again to the Visa Siganture Freedom option or whatever. I asked about 100 times. Are you sure this time????????!?!. They said yes. Well.......to be honest i'm thinking negatively, i wouldnt be surprise the new card sending in will be the same "Visa" only. Well see.......frustrating.

Congrats for getting it fixed... let's hope.

Without trying to snarky, question: Have you ever used a "signature benefit"  - I've got a wallet full of Signature and World Elite MC cards and I've never used a single so called benefit. Only one I can think would be worthwhile is the primary car rental coverage but I rarely rent a car, then again missing luggage replacement insurance might be good, but I have not flown in over 7 years (used to a lot, but no more).  Since I have the Freedom Unlimited in the Signature, I'm just thinking I might be missing something (?).

My Freedom was originally a $4k CL and normal VISA.

After messaging a CSM, I moved $3k of CL from my chase amazon card and got it upgraded to a Visa Signature. Was pretty easy.

Re: Why isnt my Chase Freedom a Visa Signature?

does anyone know if theres a way to confirm I have a siganture visa card besides just the card saying it? For example, in your chase account....is there anywhere that can show its visa siganture for confirmation? Just asking, since its "fixed now" ands my Visa Signature card is suppoedly on its way. I want to see if the account really did change besides having to call in ans ask again. BTW, its frustrating because I didn't want Chase to see record of me constantly product changing like im some maniac, but here I go PCing again to a Visa Signature Freedom (from a Freeodm non Sig)  but it wasn't even my fault  lol.

Re: Why isnt my Chase Freedom a Visa Signature?

Login to the chase webpage, click the Freedom card, click the "things you can do" dropdown, click "card benefits", scroll to the bottom and click "see more benefits" Visa Signature® Concierge Service" show up at the end.

I imagine it should for you too now.

Thanks Kudos. I just did that....it does show Visa Signature Concierge Service. Let's just hope it doesn't say that for all accounts even the non-siggys lol.

Re: Why isnt my Chase Freedom a Visa Signature?

What's the benefit of a Visa Signature over a Visa?  I have a few Visa Signature cards and honestly couldn't tell you the difference between them and non-VS cards.
