Ok, Without sounding like a spoiled brat. Why will no one give me a credit line increase. At first I thought I was just being paranoid. But now I am wondering if there is something up?
I have many (6) CC, that have all stayed at the SL. Despite making on time payments and keeping my balance low(all but 1 card actually has a balance on it). I read post on here all the time about luv buttons and automated CLI's. I have a Amazon Chase card I opened up in 05/2017. SL of $500. Its still at $500! I have never missed a payment or even been late on this card. I called Chase last week out of anger, after reading a post about someone who got a big CLI after 91 days?!?!
The Rep told me flat out she had no idea why I never received a CLI. And that she was going to be emailing someone who would look into it and send me a letter in the mail.
You can copy and paste that same conversation and outcome to Capital One. Opened in 06/2016 SL of $300. Still $300??? Kohl's opened 06/2016 SL $300 Still $300. Etc. Now the fact that all of those cards wont give me a CLI are mostly just annoying. Its my Costco Citi Visa that I really care about getting the Cli on. Opened in 07/2018 fairly new. SL $4000. I decided to just used this card as my daily CC. So I would like a higher balance. Last month my wife and I spent $8500 on the card and carried over a $300 balance. This month we are on track to spend the same.
I read a post in the beginning of the month on here the Citi was a soft pull. So I tried for CLI. NO GO, I got a message saying that my overall credit card balances were too high compared to the limits??? I thought that's weird because I don't have a balance on any other Card?? So I waiting until my new FICO report to post. And tried again last Monday, and got the same message. So I called Citi to find out if someone could just look at my new report. NOPE!!!! This is a big NO from Citi bank. After passing me around to five different people who all said CITI WONT DO THAT!!! The last guy said to wait until today. Because my account statement date was yesterday. Which is why I writing this post and asking, WHY WILL NO ONE GIVE ME A CLI? I got a denied today and the message said this?
Your credit report shows your balances on your revolving accounts are too high in relation to those credit lines.
You have paid a low portion of your lifetime charges on one or more of your accounts with us.
I have no balance on my other lines!!! And I have no idea what to do with this second reason. I have only this one account with Citi. And my Uti is normally around 15%-20%? Or is this saying I don't have enough time in with Citi yet for a increase? Because people on here are always posting about CLI after 91 days from them. Can someone please tell me what up?
I been reading on here lately about freezing your accounts? Not entirely sure whats that about. Could I have accidentally done that? Or is that something a card company can do? But why can I still apply for Credit?

Do you know your FICO scores DR527?
Also , normally Citi's CLIs are at 181 days from the last or when the account was opened. You should be in that time frame now..correct?
You can request a CLI from Citi and go the HP route. If you do, asked for what you want, not what you think they'll approve. If you want $30K, asked for it!

Hey,
It also depends on your income, I mean, if nothing has chaged form when you first applied to these cards, they could not give you a CLI.
From my rebuild(2016) to now my income has doubled. Also is that normal? Do people who receive luv button and automated increases. Report higher income once they recevied their cards? I thought it only had something to do with spending and payments.

Any reason why your scores are in the mid 600's? How old is your oldest account? Do you have a mortgage or installment loan, such as an auto loan? You posted while I was typing. lol

OP mentioned rebuild. I'd imagine there must be derogs present
There are no guarantees that you will ever get CLIs especially auto CLIs. I'm going to guess at this one because I couldn't gather very much info about your overall profile.
1) Your CLs are on the lower side for one reason or another. In a previous post last month, you said you have 31 inquiries. Many creditors would deem this as "aggressive credit seeking behavior" and would be reluctant to give you more.
2) It sounds like you have a mostly younger profile. How many accounts have you opened up in the last 24 months?
3) Do you have any negatives on your reports? It doesn't matter how old, do you have any?

I must be a slow typer. The word rebuild wasn't in the conversation when I typed my previous post.
