I applied for a Discover IT back in September and was instantly approved for $500.. I can't seem to get a CLI?! I keep trying and they say no.. I always run it up to 400-450 and PIF? :/

Discover can be shy for about a year then increases come rolling in. That was the case for me.

How long have you had the card? What was your profile like when you app'd? I'd say it was bordeline approval based on the limit they gave you.

I also opened a Discover it card last September. SL $1300 they decline me every time I try... I always pif. Just made another $900 payment. Tu is at 657. Hoping for a Increase in a few days after my statement cuts... But I doubt it. Think my Tu score might just be too low for Thier liking.

What is your TU score if you don't mind me asking Op.

Discover is like that girl you liked your senior year of high-school. Just won't give it up until you wait a year after your freshman year of college then anything seems to go. Real freaky credit increase.

Same Here. I opened my Discover in November 2014 and been stuck on same opening limit of 1000. They wont budge online or by phone. Its ok because I leave it in my sock drawer and continue to use barclays cap one, fnbo all who have given me 3-4 cli in that same time period.

Unfortunately OP, this seems to be typical behavior for certain account holders while other accounts earn CLI after CLI. My advice: be patient. CLIs will come. Best of luck!

Took about a year for me as well. All my CLI (auto) come in the $250-$500 ballpark but they add up.
