Will AMEX CLD based on others’ CLI?

I have been enjoying my BCE $1k limit and Amex green card, NPSL.

I was just granted a CLI from Goldman Sachs on my Apple Card from $6600 to $10,600. They let you include household income. It is my highest card limit to date. Thing is, my individual income is only about 17.5k, which is what I reported to Amex upon my applications. For Goldman, I used household income, hence the higher limit.

I also have a Self VISA limit for $1200 and a C1 QuickSilver $600. My total available credit is around $14k.

I never carry a balance and pay as transactions post.

My question: should I expect AA from Amex for that huge CLI from Apple Card? I let the card always report $0, and AZEO on my C1 card for around $10.

Doubtful, CLD happens when risk goes up. If you are not increasing your utilization then there is rarely AA.

I used my green card this month and as soon as charges posted, I made a payment. In fact, I made about nine payments this month on that card. I figure they are being repaid so quickly, the lower the risk for them.

I'm trying to reach the SUB, and after that, my spending will be much lower. Same with my BCE card. Hopefully, they understand this.

I was just concerned with a huge CLI if they wouldn't like that based on my low income.

I think you'll be okay...and to be honest, you don't have to make payments as often as you are (unless you need to or want to). As long as your overall profile doesn't start leaning in the wrong direction, Amex, in my experience, seems to be okay with a lot of other things that may make some lenders jumpy.

Enjoy your new increase and don't sweat the other stuff. Just use your card, pay it off, rinse and repeat and you should be good to go...and hopefully Amex will increase your limit when your income increases.
