Wondering when is best to get CLI for Target card?

I'm about to hiy my 6th month with Target. What works best for getting a CLI for the Target card? Can you do every 6 months, or is it best to do every 12 months?

Unfortunately, it's pretty random and they do it at their convenience :/ I heard updating your income helps but not sure.

Just use your card as often as possible and get close to spending most of your CL. It takes time and patience with target. They will eventually realize that you need more credit. There is no specific time frame like 6 mo. They give cli when they want to.

Exactly this.  I went almost 15 years with no CLI (and one random CLD one of the times the card changed lenders) until I began letting $150-$400 balances post to the statement, and both PIF and updated income (even if same) every month.  Got a CLI of $500 in June and $1000 in December.  

OP, it wasn't clear whether you are aware since you asked about 6 vs 12 months, but TD Bank does not do customer-initiated CLIs, only auto.
