Working on my game plan

So I have posted in here several times. Ranging from rebuilding, to having all baddies drop off, app spreeing, and gardening. This is going to be a little bit rambley and general.

It have been a busy last 6 months for me and my credit profile. I went from a couple of secured cards, to over $40k in available credit, and a car loan almost over night.

I do have to say that I went a little overboard, and wish I would have played the game a little more tactfully to perhaps have gotten higher limits on some of my cards, especially my CSP.

Now I am developing my next plan of attack. My Scores went from the 730-745 range to all being 690s after the spree and auto loan, but have now leveled off in the 710-720 range. I am sure they will continue to go up as i get my util lower, currently at 26% (bought an engagement ring on the amex for 0% int, have it about half paid off).

I have done a 3xcli on my amex, and will be doing another cli request in october after my 6 months is up, hopefully bringing my limit from 13500 to 22500. At what point do the request the financial review?

I would like to get my CSP limit up from the $5k that the gave as my SL. I have heard that with them it is best to app for another chase card and transfer limit? Which card do you think give their highest SL, or should i just burn an inquirey on a CLI request?

Other than those two things i plan on chilling in the garden for quite some time, i just want to get my staple cards to a point where i never have to worrth about util %.

Thanks as always for any help guys and encouragement along the way guys!!

Re: Working on my game plan

I think the chase cobranded cards are easy to acquire and with your scores you could probably get a decent SL. One member on here got a $16k southwest visa, so anything is possible lol. But of course YMMV.

As far as Amex asking for the 4096T, the consensus seems to be whenever you go over $25k.

Re: Working on my game plan

Right on, I appreciate the quick reply!!

I thought about the co branded cards, but wasnt sure if they can transfer limit like the chase branded cards can.

Is there any restriction how quickly after opening the card that you can move its balance over?

I would hope for a 10-15k limit so i can really bump up the CSP. I'll probably garden a little longer just to be sure.

Re: Working on my game plan

I believe it is possible to transfer limits from a cobranded card to one of their main cards, yes. People talk about closing their Hyatt or Amazon or whatever and moving it to their freedom or CSP.

I don't think there is, however I'd recommend waiting at least 6 months so Chase won't think you're churning.

Yes gardening is always good.
