Re: Worth converting NFCU Cash Rewards to Flagship?

It only reports as a new account if you literally move a portion of your existing account to open a new account. A simple product change would not result in a new account being created

Re: Worth converting NFCU Cash Rewards to Flagship?

That is good to know. Well, I just realized I have a 5k NRewards card that has been sock drawered for almost 2 years. Maybe I will just have that card PC'd over the the Flag Siggy and keep the 20k on the Cash rewards. I suppose I could juggle purchases to make the $49 annual fee worth it.

You can always convert the nRewards and then move some of your limit or just ask for a CLI

wait additional add.... spend to make 2%... The Flagship is 2% from Dollar One if you use for Travel trade in... The cash can be 1.5% but not until after you spend $10k at 1%, then remainder of the year is 1.5%... so if you will use the travel rebate at all the 2% should pay for itself in shades.... even cash conversion should come out a bit better I think, but will try to learn more and update once ours comes this week!
