Worth it to hold both CSR and CSP?

So I wanted to ask is it work it to hold both the Sapphire Reserve and the Sapphire Preferred now that Chase has ended the one Sapphire rule. I'm just going to play it on the conservative side and say the CSP will cost be an EAF of $95 and the main reasons why I'd want the CSP would be the 3x back on streaming and the 2x back on flexible travel offered by Chase. I wouldn't really count the 3x on dining since I'd already be getting that on the CSR and I'd also be holding the CFU for 1.5x on everything. So is the 3x on streaming and .5x more on travel worth it to hold the CSP or should I just go for something like the Freedom Flex all together?

Only you can know from your past spend on what works.   Do the numbers and you tell us what works with some outline on spend.  Then we will tell you where you can do better.

I'd be very interested to see that the math pencils out to hold either AF card, let alone both. Please do provide.

CSR I'd be well ahead of the annual fee. CSP on the other hand is a different story

CSP has $10 monthly DD non-restaurant credit already. If you value that at 50% (buy a case of water *pick up at Dashmart if one is near = free*), it is already netting $60 a year and add the hotel credit $50 you are in the black.

This only make sense if you travel (stay at hotels/fly) at least once a year. If you do not travel do not get this card.

Here is how my CSR maths out for me for 2025 (I will be grandfathered in at $550, I will need to reassess next year). $20 monthly DD non-restaurant credits I value at about 60% so about $145 + $5 montly DD restaurant credit (I use at Chipotle 100% value) so $60 + $300 travel credit (easiest credit in the game), plus GE/TSApre (I got GE at $120, I travel out of the country at least once a year) so 120/5 = $25ish and I used the Lyft discount and lift pink credit about $20 dollars minimum a year.  Old AF $550, credits used about $550. Plus, I was getting lounge access, Priority Pass and Sapphire Lounges, best travel insurances, and 1.5% points boost when booking travel portal. I only did that once, but I did transfer points (several times during transfer bonus times *aeroplan, flyingblue, virgin atlantic, and avianca*) my average cpp is over 2cents per point. Totally worth it. In easy mode just transfer your points to Hyatt and you win. (This is not counting any of the new credits and benefits that will hit my account at the end of October)

Re: Worth it to hold both CSR and CSP?

Both together, we do not know if 2x travel will go away on the CSP. Even if it does not go away, I am not sure it makes sense to have the CSP and the CSR. What is the difference 3x streaming and online grocery? Yeah I would get a CFF over the CSP to team up with a CSR.
