Would Like to Apply to My First Amex Revolver, Advice?

Hello everybody.

So in two days I will finally have 12 months of having a credit score and I thought I would take a chance and apply for an Amex revolver. My question is which Amex revolver (if any) do you think I could get approved for? Here is a little background information about myself: My only card is a Discover It credit card, which is the first and only type of credit I have ever had. According to Discover, my TransUnion Fico score is currently 778. I haven't had any inquiries at all since I applied for my Discover It card, which was about 17 months ago. I have never had any late payments. Every month since I have had the card I have reported between 1-4% utilization, (this month specifically, will be 3%). And lastly my annual income is $39,000.

Thank you all very much!

They all have the same credit criteria so it doesn't matter which. That being said, whichever one fits your needs. I'd go for the PRG one myself.

PRG is a charge card, not a revolver.

OP, which rewards program appeals to you the most? If you can use Starpoints well and can meet the minimum spend ($3k in 3 months, another $2k in six months) then SPG 35k is a great offer that is available for a few more days.

Delta Gold is generally one of the easiest Amex revolver to get approved for. I've always said almost anyone can benefit from the BCE.

I don't have charge cards but you can log into Credit Karma, go through all purchases that are "Uncategorized" and label them accordingly. When you're done, it'll tell you how much spend you've had for the last 6 months. For example, if you spend less than ~1650 on groceries (over 6 mos.), Amex BCE would be a better option for you. If you spend more, Amex BCP would be better. Although, if you're getting a charge card too, Amex ED is good because I hear the points can transfer from it to the charge card (Don't quote me on this part).

Active Cards: Chevron Texaco, Amex BCE, Barclays Ring, Chase Freedom, Chase Freedom Unlimited, Best Buy Visa, Marvel MCMust garden until 2/1/2022 to hit my goal AAOA. Smiley Indifferent

Ahh I do spend way less than 1650 over 6 months, I don't plan on appying for any charge cards. I'm not really picky over this, my only hope is get my foot in the door with Amex and coming out of it with a revolving credit line with them! Smiley Happy

I'm confused. How do you have a 17-month old inquiry for a 12-month old account?

Well I didn't include the first six month of myself having the credit card because I did not have get credit score until having the card for six months. Like right now the first score I have shows up at 4/27/16. But I don't know if thats even the right way to calculate credit history! haha I just know that right now I have 11 months of having a credit score and 17 months of having a credit card. Oh And I included mentioning the inquiries, even though at the time when they occured I didnt have a credit score yet, because they still effected my score until late last year!

I changed it to 12 months of having a credit score, to clarify!
