I figured I would just ask this in a post, I got another CLI denial letter in the mail but my TU Fico score on that is 620 and they said they pulled it in early Nov. Well, I went and pulled all three fico scores last night and my TU is at 730 currently. Probably because my 9 year old medical debt got deleted off of there after a company tried to put it back on but I disputed it and so TU deleted it. So my question is if I called Dicso and pointed out there score for me is old and wrong if it would make a difference for a CLI?
You can request a CLI any time you want. Ten times a day if you wanted. Why recon something that costs nothing and you can try again in a week or a month at no cost again?
No recon needed. Just be patient, try again in 30 days.

Recon because they are using an outdated score?
I think you're confused about the purpose of recon so I'd like to explain it a bit.
Recon means actually calling up a CSR and asking them to invest their time and energy into fixing a problem you have. You have no problem. You asked for a CLI request, they used the most recent soft pull data and declined you. You can ask for as many CLI requests as you want at any time at NO COST TO YOU and eventually their monthly soft pull will have fresh data.
Instead you want to burden customer service with recon?
In a week if you want, do another CLI request. There is no cost to you.
My big fear if you recon a CLI request at Discover is that they'll HARD PULL you for a fresh new report versus just letting the website do what it does best and soft pull you once a month.
I think if you recon (which Discover isn't known for recon results anyway) they are going to want to do a pull to get a fresh report and change the decision. If not, they're looking at the same one and the decision is unlikely to change.
I would just leave it and try again later. It's a SP. If denied, no harm, no foul. Just keep trying periodically. I have not heard of many if any succesful Discover recons.
Don't bother you can recon but be a HP if they even let you do that and if anything you might get a whopping 500 dollars if lucky. Wait for the SP CLI to come through.
Seriously.. Just wait roughly 31 days from that SP they used... or the denial...
Also do you use Credit Scorecard? There are some ancedotal (myself included) reports that they also use the monthly soft pull from that as a part of their decision process.... and its a different FICO from the one that cardholders get... If you dont.. id sign up for it ... Still wait the 31 days or untill they SP you again for your main card... (hint.. the date they pull is the date on the FICO scorecard IN your account)....
If that doesnt succeed.. id wait 31 more days and try again... no use in littering your mailbox with denial letters or the infamous "Not enough experience with current CL or other rejection comments"
