USAA has done good things for me lately, too. We've had my hubby's direct deposit going into USAA for several years (switched from NFCU). My hubby is a Navy Submariner. We've gone back and forth from Geico to USAA for car and home insurance, etc. Recently, however, I got a USAA MC and a USAA AmEx, $5000 each, as well as a refi of 3 vehicles for lower interest rates. Although we aren't always thrilled with the checking account services from USAA, they are still great to do loan and credit business with!
