X1 CLD

X1 line was cut from the 30's to the teens just now received notification. Email said "To be considered for a line increase, please increase your regular spend and continue making on-time payments."

Ran about $3k/month through this card. Mostly recurring charges. Always PIF before statement cut.

Guess they want more charging to maintain the big CL's!

How long have you had yours? I don't run that much through my card either but have only had it since January.

Can't say I really care. It was never my biggest line, and really only use the card for its multiple virtual card feature with recurrent charges. The rewards point structure is just OK so was never putting any large charges on it anyway.

Sounds like they are running out of seed money and need to free up some for reserves and possibly hoping for some new customers that pay interest.  Sorry about your CLD along with other likely to come.

Re: X1 CLD

I just checked mine. My CL is stil $26,500. I put a couple of thousand on it and PIF the day the statement cuts.  I've already decided if they do a CLD on me, I'll just close it.  I have 52 other better cards to use.

Just my opinion.
