Re: X1 Card Are Now Doing Hard Inquires

I was approved for my X1 with no HP. Was approved for 32500.00. I have 790s fico 8 scores on all three CB. 795 to 806 fico 8 bankcard scores. (Mod cut - @creditchecked these types of discussions are not permitted per the myFICO Forums TOS) I honestly think it is a case by case basis and how you credit profile looks during the soft pull. How this helps.

HP hits when they ship card or shortly after. Mine hit the day it shipped - roughly 3 days after approval. HP's from X1 are now the norm.

Lol, that didn't take long.....Amex wins again for existing cardholders and you even get a SUB.

Re: X1 Card Are Now Doing Hard Inquires

The one benefit is the high credit limit from the start. This will add to you credit utilization ratio. This 32500.00 CL puts me with 280k total credit available across 12 cards. I only report 1% across them all. I think this is one of those cards that is worth 1 inquiry. For most the additional credit limit will erase the point drop from the inquiry, once your new CL reports.

If it's all about padding this card will be doomed because there will be a lack of a revenue stream.  6 mo - 1 yr lines we will see lines decreased for lack of use on these boards, IMO.

As the topic has been fairly well-covered given the recent X1 application [HP] process + credit reporting DPs, this thread is now locked and closed to new messages.
