BoA - +2500 (new limit $5000)
Disc - +5000 (new limit $7500)!!!
I've had both cards for over 10 years, but I was stuck @ $500 for FOREVER on my Disc. I've never gotten an auto cli from them. About 2 years ago I started asking for cli's on Disc every 6 mo's to no avail. Then, I got $2000 increase about 4 mo ago, and asked for 5k yesterday. Hard pull for both (I don't know which agencies). But I combined the BoA cli with a PC to their Rewards Visa. Customer Support said only 1 pull was needed for both.
The wife and I are traveling to Europe next month, so that's what I told them when they asked why I was requesting a cli (extra margin while traveling). I'm happy because this is the first time I'm able to use a CC for an entire month without multiple payments (when I had a $500 limit on Disc, I was paying 5-9 times a month to be able to use it...)
What changed? The last of my baddies fell off (I broke 800 earlier this year). My wife was added as AU on Disc, but I'm not sure how much that made a difference. I'm sure it helps that I can use her income in the figuring (got married 10/09). I've got a perfect mortgage payment history since we bought our first home 2 years ago (my FICO was 666 at time of signing). Personally, I think it was the mortgage that finally broke things loose.
Congrats on the Discover CLI. Getting a CLI from Discover is rare and historical.
Wow, congrats! Sounds like things are going great with your excellent scores, new home and a vacation coming up! You seem to be a very patient person - those are a lot of payments per month. Well deserved CLIs!

I know, right? I should clarify that I had to call in the request on Monday (as well as 4 mo back). I've still never recieved an auto cli from Disc.
