Yay...little bit of credit limit increase....

Just so excited...not that it is much.  I went to my Credit One account online just to check my balance.  To my surprise...my credit limit now says $275...it used to be $200.  I am just shocked because I was not thinking I'd get any type of increase until I had paid it in full.  Sorry....it just feels good to get some type of "reward".  Not that I plan on spending that extra amount...I am just trying to improve my score.  Thanks to this board....it's been working!  I've had almost a 100 point jump in 3 months!

When did you open your account with CreditOne—if you don't mind my asking? I'm rebuilding now as well and have an account with them with a paltry $250 limit and would like to see a little increase.

Exactly 2 years ago...Oct. 2007.  I rec'd $200 limit then.  I have paid every month on time.  Went over my limit a couple of times though.  Every now and then I'd pay a few more dollars over the min. due, but not much.  I wasn't expecting to get a jump yet.  I will have 1 of my student loans paid off in a couple of month and a bank loan (personal loan) that will be paid off next week.  I was going to use that money to pay off the credit card balance after that and see what kind of increase I would get.  So this was a nice surprise!

Thanks for the pats on the back!  It feels good!  I just received my ScoreWatch update a few minutes ago...another 34 point jump!  I'm now at 612...much better than it used to be!
