The Costco TrueEarnings and the Costco Anywhere Visa are not the same thing. My TE is gone from my account.
I know. It's gone from my Amex account now too. It just wasn't yet at the time I posted before.

LOL This literally made me spray coffee on myself!

Early birds approvals came in by midnight
Home from a trip and just added my Citi card to my existing online account. The online account was being a little wonky and the link/unlink account wasn't showing on the account initially, so I chatted.
I got my card (primary) added. Then I asked how things would be treated since my husband is an AU and I notice he's got a separate card number. Agent said he'd need to register his card also. Seems kinda weird. I tried to ask agent more and he kept repeating the same phrase, so I ended the chat.
Anyone make multiple charges involving both primary and AU cards yet? Did you have to do something with the AU card?

That does seem odd. I have never done AUs though (never had one, never been one) on anything so I wouldn't know.

With Amex, they issued different card numbers (other Citi cards haven't) and the AU CAN make a separate online account, but don't HAVE to. The AU charges show on the primary card. I suppose if an AU was going to pay separately for their charges, they might want an online account that only shows their charges and their 'balance'. I've never looked at that part of DH's AmEx account. He never had an Amex account online until he had his own Plat and then we added his other Amex cards (where he's an AU on mine) to take advantage of Amex offers. But since I'll be paying the bill in full AND there's not something like Amex offers, I see no reason for a separate online account.
Now if I need to link it to mine, I sort of see that, but if I don't the total wouldn't be right so I can't imagine them requiring it.

That's interesting; could you see if the T&C are any different? For a while Amex ACM's have been handled differently than the traditional AU that most issuers have, would you mind checking to see if there was any sort of change vis a vis individual responsibility in the new Costco card?
To your point if you're responsible for the charges as the primary account holder then I'd damned well want to be able to see the charges personally, but if you're "not" then...

That could be the issue. Citi is doing a one-to-one card number transfer and linking afterwards rather than doing a one-to-one account transfer and then figuring out how many cards each account has, it seems.
I was able to add/link my own account. I made it the Default account. I then tried to do the same for my spouse. I needed to go into
Account Management and request an STC code. The email came right away but said to wait four hours before attempting to add the AU so the system could update itself. Sigh.
I went in the following day, noted that my Costco Card was identified as the Default card, my Double Cash card was there and then added/linked her. I signed on the next day. I see her Card, my Citi Double Cash, but a notice that information for Card XXXX (mine) is no longer being provided. Sheesh. I unlinked the card just now and added it back. We'll see what tomorrow brings.
Memo to Citi: It should not be this difficult.
It was all very easy for me. I added my new card to my existing account on 19th only and then requested STC code for my DW who is AU on my card. Tthe STC code arrived with a min and next minute she was able to register her AU card on her Citi id using that STC code.
