Yet another CrapOne story

So, I almost forgot I have this crapone card, because its 2k miles away. But, I called anyway to see if I could get anything out of them.

the CSR states the obvious "well, theres very low activity on the card ma'am"

...well duh, because theres nothing I can do with a $5 dollar CL with NO rewards. Then he tells me to apply for a Venture Card and I'll most likely get a 20k CL. I don't want your crappy venture card (no offense) especially not if I have to take a decrease in AAoA. And I definitely don't want TWO cards with you guys.

The most informative thing he said is that it wouldnt be a hard inquiry since I already have business with them.

Re: Yet another CrapOne story

My lower limit ($2-3K) cards are the most stressful to manage. I'm always worried about them posting a balance, paying in advance, and when they'll finally have a more workable CL for daily spending.

I have literally paid Amex 4 times since their BCP arrived Feb 9th! I have other cards but only the Freedom beats it on Gas/department stores right now.

Re: Yet another CrapOne story

Seems your mind is made up with an anti-Capital One attitude. So what is there to decide? IMO Credit Cards are tools of convenience, nothing more so if Capital One is not a  useful tool to you, no big deal, dump them.

Re: Yet another CrapOne story

If this is true then I got screwed. I have a platinum mc and when I applied for my cash back green card I still got the triple pull.

Me either......

I highly doubt that's true. Not that OP is lieing but the CSR is misinforming.

I'd shut them down, what is the CL on that card aamex?

That's just one of the 347,619 reasons why I will never apply for a Crap1 card ever again.

Re: Yet another CrapOne story

I won't either. The only reason I applied for the green card is because it has a minimum initial CL of $3,000 which is my highest at the moment.

Congrats on the 3K CL, that's actually pretty good for Cap1 (being a consertive lender and all) <---another one of the 347,619 reasons why I will never app with Cap1 again.

Hopefully their Prime side CSR's are better than their subprime CSR's <----and another one of the 347,619 reasons why I'll never app with Cap1 againSmiley Very Happy

Seriously tho, Congrats, and I hope your Green Card will grow with youSmiley Happy
