One of their chat reps told me that my newly-designed card was shipped in early Oct.
I chatted w them yesterday bc I still haven't received it. The rep said that he requested a replacement due to security reasons. Umm, how about asking me first! So, a new card account was created. The problem is that Synch stupidly reports lost/stolen cards as new accounts. This happened to me earlier this year.
The other problem is that I logged into attempted to log into my Synch acct today and received a notice that I couldn't log in because there's a problem that needs to be resolved with the acct. I called them and it turns out that my new card wasn't mailed earlier this month. What was mailed was just a NOTICE that my new card would arrive in Nov. So, this rep created a new card for me without asking my permission...for nothing. I'm so ticked off.
What's even more frustrating is that throughout all of this, I realized that their reps don't really do much research of their own when talking to customers. They just read each other's mostly inaccurate notes and relay the same info to customers, which is probably why the rep who requested a new card told me that my CARD, not LETTER, was mailed earlier this month.
