You Never Forget Your First Time....

If you remember way back to when you got your shiny new CC, what was your first charge?  It was Aug of 99, I was 17.  Mom cosigned on a Cap1 card with a $300 limit.  The purchase . . . couple of pairs of jeans.   Funny how I remember that like it happened yesterday Smiley Happy

Re: You Never Forget Your First Time....

I ran my $300 limit Chase card right up to the limit at Marshalls.  Young and dumb and had no understanding of credit.  Bad times. Smiley Indifferent

Re: You Never Forget Your First Time....

Bought a $450 stereo on my Sears card when I was a senior in college ('96). Had the card for over a year before I ever used it. When I got my statement with the stereo on it I also noticed they had bumped my $500 limit to $1500. Still have the stereo...
