I received an instant approval for the Zync NPSL... YEAH BABY!!!!!
Being a previous Platinum card holder from 2006 to 2010 (account closed in good standing) I am thrilled to be back with them.
There is one question that I have though... Would my Zync be backdated to 2006 even though my previous account has been closed since 2010?
I called CS and the different Reps I spoke to did not know since it has been 2 years. I was really hoping to have the card back dated to 2006.
Has anyone had any exprience with this?

Congrats on the approval !! You should have no problem getting the new card backdated, even though it is closed out it should automatically set your MS date. Since it was only a few years ago AMEX very likely still has it in their systems. When you set up your on~line account you should see "Member since 2006".

Thanks,
I got the Home, Eco, and Connect packs. I'm going to have to re-read the terms of the packs just to make sure that I completely understand them.
connect pack is great as you get double points on paying cable phone internet. just an FYI you wont be getting any points untill after the second statement. you earn points, points pend and then you get them. your earned points will always be a statement behind. but if there is ever an issue amex has great CSR's. some points were lagging and not posting and they gave me an adavance. i sent a message thru the message center and they got back to me like 2 hours later.
CONGRATULATIONS!!

Thanks for that bit of info. I plan on using this as my goto card instead of my debit card.
This is my second card in 2 weeks. I was approved for a NFCU cashRewards card last week. Just received it this past Friday.
It's now time to break out the gardening tools and go to work.
Will be asking for a CLI on the NFCU or apping for a BCP in January.
Quick question though... Can you add packs to this card after you receive it?
