Welcome to the forums!!! Why do you think the Green and the Zync have different underwriting standards? Smiley Happy

I'm pretty sure Zync does, since it was initially geared towards the younger card holders hoping to get their foot in the door with AMEX,

not to mention that there are (were?) two tiered Zyncs: the NPSL and the $500 Hard limit.

I'm pretty certain the Zync did as well looking at anecdotal reports and my own absolutely asinine approval; almost a statistical certainty since they had a counter-offer program whereas none of the other charge cards did.

@Anonymous: I used the heck out of the restaurant pack, if packs are coming back, I hope that's still one of them!

Edit: as an aside, if the Zync does come back, there's no guaruntee it'll have the same underwriting standards it did before

Interesting ... an Amex charge card that has a limit. Amex has gotten creative lately ... Smiley Happy

Re: Zync: return of the unicorn?

Zyncs with PSL were around quite awhile ago, and were essentially a subprime product offered by Amex. If you do some searching on here, you'll turn up tons of threads about it.
