No credit card required
Browse credit cards from a variety of issuers to see if there's a better card for you.
There's no restriction on when you can use your card.
Do you have a specific goal that you're trying to accomplish which may affect your usage of the card?
If your goal is to ensure your statement always posts with $0, once you've made the payment do not use the card until after the statement closes. If your goal is to simply PIF with every statement, it doesn't matter so much about when you use the card.
Hope this helps.
If you want 0 balance to be reported, then you can use your card after the statement cut date, IME. I've PIF then charged before the statement cut and the new balance was reported. I've also made additional payments (if I didn't PIF) after due date, but before statement cut and payment was posted.
It won't affect decition for unsecured card even if you carry some small balance. 1-20% is fine.
As long as you pay in full each month

You can or look at the statement

I don't know how to bring this up delicately, but you aren't trying to manage your credit cards using paper are you? That my friend is a recipe for disaster. The only way to make sure your payment gets there on time is on-line. Also the only sure fire way to monitor when things post etc. Wal-Mart is famous for not posting stuff until after the statement drops and you can't pay it before it posts (been caught like that almost every month I have had the card)
You're here on an internet chat board so you must have internet access.
You can still receive a paper statement if it makes you feel better.

My understanding is OP is paying in full and wants that amount to post to CRA, not any charges made after payment. I believe OP just wants a date to ensure this, which should be statement cut/close date, unless you have an issuer that does mid-cycle reporting for whatever reason.
