The Amex you get next year will reflect the year your first card was approved
The reason people apply in Jan. is if approved that card would reflect 1/2013
If Feb. 2/2013 and so on so on for whatever month you are approved

well just applied for the salliemae world mc and got approved. I have not called chase yet to ask for a CLI on the freedom so I can complete a balance transfer. I will try calling the back door number and hopefully if it works great if not, I will just sit back and wait for new cc.
