I have the amex amazon prime card that offers 5% with a prime membership and 3% without. For the amazon synchrony card, the rewards I earn will always be at least 5%, right? Because I want to confirm that I am indeed earning 5%, but synchrony doesn't offer line by line that shows how much rewards are earned for each purchase. thx
You earn 5% back on amazon purchases inless you select a special financing option ( equal payments, 0% option, etc ) with prime membership. Without you dont get anything back. You can always double check your statements and it shows rewards earned for that statement along with running total.
Here's the key point I found,
"Non-Prime members do not earn rewards."
Sync sux.
Yeah, the store card isnt good for non-Prime members, but the Visa is.
Amex Business Prime card is 5% on Amazon and related companies (Amazon Business, AWS, and Whole Foods) up to a $150k cap for Prime members, then lower rewards after that. The new US Bank Business Prime card follows that same rewards structure, but also adds 2% on top 2 spend categories per year up to $150k. Everything else is 1%.
For personal side the Synchrony store card is not worth it . Chase Prime Visa is better card even if you aren't a Prime member.
