amex, cant get a prequalifier but i see this message

I get that all the time from any website. Its their way of saying "Hey your not pre-qualified, but heres some cards you might interested in and can still be approved for"

Obviously nothing is guaranteed but yes you can be approved still like any card.

I've never pre-qualified or been preapproved; however, I still push that app and I've been approved. I think as long as you research the score requirements, space out your apps, you should be fine. I was approved for the ED & Green with a BK and a Bankcard score of 685 on EX.

I didnt get the prequal either and still applied. Was approved for Amex ED with EX score of 682. Also still showing my BK from 2007, but no other baddies though! I never pre- qual. I dont know if I inadvertently opted out of credit card offers or what!
