amex delta gold invitation and BK

hello everyone

i got an invitation through delta with my sky mile to apply for thē gold and get 35k bonus miles after spending 1k in the first three months

i have untill june15 to respond

but i also have a BK from a chapter 7 that is due to fall off november of  this year

what to do , what to do

other thank BK - file is  clean and utilization below 7%

That's arguably the easiest Amex card to get approved for. You'll be fine. Don't sweat it.

So long as AMEX was not IIB, I think you have very good odds of approval.  AMEX absolutely LOVES low UTIL.   I was instantly approved for BCE in March, with Ch 7 BK from October 2005 (AMEX was not IIB).  My UTIL was around 8% at approval and EX FICO score was 673.

You should be good. I had a Chap 7 BK discharged in Aug 2004 and got back in with Amex in Aug 2013 (9 years) so if yours is soon to fall off you should be OK. I did not have to recon any of my Amex cards either.
