i have a lot of inquiries due to a recent car refi and app spree. i was denied for an amex zync for high inquiries and some other reasons but it made me wonder what amex's threshold is e.g., if i go 6 months without any inquiries would that no longer be an issue, etc.
i realize i have to raise my scores and do more scrubbing on my CRs but i was just curious!
I got my Zync last month with a 651 EX. I app'ed for the Gold at the same time and was approved for that as well with one HP. I would probably sit tight for 6 months and let the INQ's age. What are your baddies, AAOA, and have you opened new accounts recently?
i have a repo and 2 COs. AAOA is 6-7 years depending on CRB and at the time i didn't have any accounts opened within 6 months. since then i refi'd and opened a new CC (first unsecured in a while). i got too ambitious and went of the amex but want to be in a better position next time
