amex plat airline credit

Just an update. I have seen a couple more reports out there of AA giftcards being reimbursed. $100 done at a time. Purchased 8/30 reimbursed 9/18.

I believe the reports are for MPX, but recently there have been reports of straight AA GCs. Many people are still waiting on legitimate reimbursement so it could still be coming.

Over the weekend I chose Alaska for the Plat and did $100 GC and AA for the PRG and did $50 GC.

I have seen over last few days a number of reports of people getting the United Mpx reimbursement. Those seem to be more common than AA GCs but that may just be because more people go the united route in general. The people getting reimbursements are right around the four week mark and since a lot of people made purchases around 8/30-8/31 we will probabl;y get a number of new datapoints in next few days.
