amex question

i'll be reaching the 700 mark soon. i have a chapter 7 and 13 that was filed 3yrs ago. since then

i've been rebuilding. fico(TU) 623  fico(EQ) 633 and i have a new car loan($10,000) install and 2ccs

cap one(cl 500) orchard(cl300) my question is am i ready to apply for a amex card with the bk"s or shoud

i wait until i get my scores in the 700's and if shouldn't apply, when should i? Thanks!!!

I don't think you are ready to apply for amex.  You have bk recently so it'll still be on file and I don't think amex like bk.

forget about amex. they will not give you a penny

they hate BK even your score 800

I would wait because your new credit is still too new and your bk is pretty recent too. Wait till its about to fall off and you have more history with the new credit you have now. There are people who slipped through the cracks before but it would be for zync and it was because of their BK about to fall off their report also with their new credit aged a bit too.

I thought I was reading a post I did for a second, your info looks just like mine.  +1 to everyone that says amex is not "usually" possible for people with bk. 2nd not to thow sand in  your shorts but the climb from where we both are now to the 700 club with 2 bankruptcy' is a very slow and long process from my experience.
