I decided I wanted to go for CLI on my amex bcp.the question I have is does amex look at statement balance or current balance for CLI?

What I meant for utilization purposes do they look at current or statement balances. I will re read the CLI thread
For your Amex, they will look at your current balance but they will also look at your overall util based on the latest sp.
Ahh I see according my experian report they haven't done any softpulls since I opened the card. Hmm I guess I shall pay off my current balance before I ask for CLI . thank you for the help

I just got card in september , and balance is pretty low thats why i wanted to get CL up so i don't have to worry about having to pay multiple times an month

I am going to play it safe and wait to pay off all my current balances on all my cards so amex doesn't have that reason to deny me.
