another HSBC question

How long does it usually take HSBC to report after the due date? My due date was the 6 & still nothing. I think it's time to let this card go.

Re: another HSBC question

HSBC reports your BALANCE as of the last business day of the month - so if you use your card after the payment date (and don't make another payment) everything you charged shows.  They are troublesome to control util on since you either can't use the card most of the month, have to make an extra payment or take a score hit for util...  they are on my get rid of list...

Re: another HSBC question

Thanx Lady_Scarlet I think I'll call tomorrow & cancel the card. I'm tired of seeing that $300 CL.

Why not just change your due date to the 28th of each month...1 payment and you limit your non usage to 2-3 days.

Re: another HSBC question

It's not just the due date. It's the CL & the fact the I have to pay $25 for a CLI. With my TU score being 708 at the time I don't understand why they would give a $300 CL. They seem to be just a step above 1st Premier.

Re: another HSBC question

i don't use mine much but when i do i pay around the 28th of the month.  They are difficult and sometimes report you the same day you make purchase..Merrick sometimes does this also.

Re: another HSBC question

Well I just checked my reports and they updated on EX. This is the same day they 1st hit my reports. So it must be the 14th for me....well at least until i cancel them.
