I concur, its an adrenaline rush - more so with what the credit limit is going to be. On my last app, when I received a 22k starting limit, I know that feeling must be comparable to doing heroin for the first time. Pure speculation, but it has to be close
It's actually a thrill for me. As an avid gambler, it's the same thrill I get when I'm playing Blackjack and I double down on 11. I don't know what's going to happen but boy is it fun when the card is being turned over.
When I applied for AMEX I closed my eyes and plugged my ears, then slowly opened my eyes to a squint so I could see if it was done...lol. Since then? Sure I get a bit nervous, but I haven't applied for a card I wanted that bad since
YESSS!!!!!!
Fear of getting denied gets me nervous , But if its an approval then theres that excitement
I really want 2 more cards (NFCU, and probably another amex OR SM), I want, not need. I periodically check the pre qual sites, fill up the applications, get nervous, and then just let it go hahaha.
I have applied for 5 Cards within 1 month I believe, and Amex ED was the only one that got denied, rest were approved. So I really have to chain myself in the garden.
Anytime someone makes a thread of their approval, it makes me wanna do it LOL..
YES YES YES... and the reason is that after the 60 seconds I always get the 7-10 days review message and then need a lot of patience until the systems will give me a status update. So far I was lucky and all of these apps ended in approvals The only instant approval I ever had was the Sallie Mae and since then I always had hopes it could happen again...but no chance !

I thought I was the only person! I always hesitate to hit the "Submit Application"/"Apply Now"/"Submit" button too! It's so bad that the application sometimes completely times out too! But that "Processing Your Application" screen is the most stressful screen ever! I think that each credit card application that I've done has aged me by like 5 years from the stress of doing it (but it's great to help you stay in the garden )!
