I never get instant approvals these days, which really takes the thrill out of applying for a new card, and I have really high scores and a thick file. I get the 7-10 with anything I apply for. Last thing was Diners club last year, which resulted in a 50K hidden trade line (which I LOVE). Now there is this Cap one Venture card - 7-10 days. Now on day 4 without an answer. I'm immediately flagged for manual review every time I apply for anything it seems, and I only apply for one new credit card every year. It's like I'm being flagged because my credit score is to high!
