Who are the offers from?
What do you need?
util. is one of those things that we all know lower is better but rather one will have any issues with approvals, will get low subprime approvals vs. high limit approvals, etc. etc. is going to depend on WAY more than just that util. number.
I have seen Discover give instant approval with 98% util. over a half a dozen cards for almost the same limit that i have seen a high 700's credit score person get with lower util. but many recent apps. (I don't really get that)
oh don't forget BK!
it's a weird weird computer model that banks have created on what type of reports still look good when they have certain things compared to the exact same thing being considered terrible on a report that doesn't have the same type of baddie or same type of util.
offers are from chase and discover IT i dont need anything specific but im using my credit more wisely now. im paying all my utilities, bills, loans, insurances and mortgage direct from my checking account....my older CCs are dated and dont offer any special rewards programs. i figure i am paying monthly for all of this now, at least let me try to get some rewards from this?? thats my logic...if i have to wait to get down my utilization i will
