ive been a memeber here, but never posted.. this is my first post
i wanna apply for a new card and i just paid my balance on my capital one CC in full, should i wait until the balance is reflected on my credit report before applying for a new card with another bank? or does it not matter?
thank you inadvance for your advice
Congrats on paying down your bill.
While you may want to apply for a new card you do not mention anything else about your credit profile.
Is this your only CC?
Do you have any negatives reporting?
How old is your AAoA?
Do you have any other debts presently?
These are just a few questions that would help others in giving you their opinions.
thank you
im currently working on improving my credit score
this is my only CC (Good standing)
i have 4 negative reportings in collections
i have an auto loan with chase bank (good standing)
i dont know what AAoA is???
Ex score is 561
Where did you get your Ex score? Is that actually your EQ score instead? In any case, you should work on getting the baddies off before applying for more CCs.
Thank you for your help

None of the scores you get from FCR are FICO scores. Besides that no one has been able to buy their own Experian FICO score since February of 2009. Creditors can pull Experian and also there is a CU (PSECU) in Pennsylvania that supplies that information to it's members only. You can only buy true FICO scores at a few places. One place is here at myFICO. I suggest you do an internet search for "myfico discount codes" to save a little money.
You can also purchase your Transunion score at www.transunioncs.com. At www.equifax.com EQ will still sell you an EQ FICO score but you have to look pretty hard for it.
From a BK years ago to:
EX - 9/09 pulled by lender 802, EQ - 10/10-813, TU - 10/10-774

+1
If money is a concern then just purchase the TransUnion Quarterly report from MYFICO, it cost about $50 a year or around there if you apply a discount code you find in google, this will give you 4 TransUnion reports a year. Then just purchase one report from MYFICO for your Equifax report when you have additional money about $15 when apply discount code so you can compare what is reporting on both accounts.
