Have a Barclays card with a 1300 CL, been 7 MO.  Statment just cut and I didnt get a cli so I went for the luv button.  Ask for 3K CLI.  Came back with 1810 total.  Right, 1810???  That was last night, should I call and try to get that moved up?

I have a 638 FICO. 

and I have a 300 balance on the card.  I run about 900 thru the card each month and PIF.

However i have a card with 75% util right now and one with 95%.  (accidental, I know its awful, cost me about 45 fico points.).   Then i have one with zero.

Yes call and ask for more and explain the reason that you put more that 900 monthly

I got my barclay apple with 1300 cl too and i maxed out that same day lol after 6 months of just paying 150 i asked for a 1000 cli and i got the we'll call you. They called me to tell me that i was approved even tho i had a 400 balance. My ex score was 676 at the time and utl was 8%

Never ask for a CLI with high util. I would suggest lowering it then waiting a bit and asking for another CLI.

I've actually had really good luck with Barclay CLIs, even when my cards were all over 75% utilization. Just be aware they might pull your credit again if you call and request a higher CL.

thats exactly what the analyst said... They really appreciate my business but, they would have to run another hard pull. Said NO.  I should have been watchign those util better... Oh well I got something...  What I think is really strange is the 1810??  Even the analyst said he didnt get that?   I know when I opened it it was 1290 then went to 1300?  Anyone else get a weird CLI then it changed to a round #?

LOL i was also approved for 1290 and then change to 1300.

I got approved for $1300.00.  Just received the card and activated it last night. I'm thinking about calling to see if they will bump the limit up a little. Have heard that people have had good luck with this. Wondering if it's worth the call (noted above that it might be a HP, don't want that). Only looking for a few hundred more, maybe a CL of $1600.00. I guess I won't know if I don't call.

i just apped and got denied telling me that i need to wait till one of my CC's is at 1 year and until my mortgage is posted.... i failed....

I guess i cant be depressed, she said that after the mortgage posts... i shouldnt have any problem getting the card with a strong limit

What a coincidence. Mine started with the same CL as well. And I asked for a CLI about the 7th or 8th statement, and got the same $1810 CL. Hmm...
